Daily trips seven days a week
For the above dates: We will be departing for South Manitou at 10 a.m. and then the boat stays on the island until 4 p.m., getting back at 5:30 p.m.
July 1 – Labor Day
We are now going to be running seven days a week July-labor day to both South and North Manitou Islands.

In the morning at 10 am to South Manitou, we will be taking “day visitors”, this boat is mainly for passengers who are just going to spend the day on the island, not camping.
The 1:50 pm boat is for campers going over to North Manitou Island and South Manitou Island. The 11:30 am departure from South Manitou will be picking up campers from previous days and the same with the 12:40 pm pick up on North Manitou, we will be picking up campers from other days.
****ALL Day visitors to south will be departing Leland at 10 am and leaving the island at 4 pm.
Labor Day – September 15
We run Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
(Day trips are ONLY on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Depart Leland at 10 a.m./Return at 5:30 p.m.)
September 16 – First weekend of October
Fridays and Sundays in the fall are just for campers, departing Leland at 10 a.m. and stopping at both islands and returning back to Leland at 2 p.m.
Kayaks: $35 each
Canoes/Tandem Kayaks: $65 each

North Manitou Island

- 11:00 am – IMMEDIATE TURNAROUND FOR LELAND. NO LAYOVER. 12:00 pm – boat arrives in Leland
Fall
Please call operator.
We will be running one boat to both islands on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays through the fall, which could make your return as late as 5:30 pm.
Hunt Schedule
Generally, it is a week-long hunt late October/early November. Please call 231-256-9061 for details.
Off-Season
We will not take campers over on Sundays in the fall and early spring.
We want all the campers to go over on Fridays or Saturdays and have everyone
return together on Sundays. We can’t guarantee boat trips that far in advance.
Cancellation Policy
- Individuals require a 48 hour notice for a refund.
- Groups of 10 or more require a 2 week notice for a refund.
- There is a 15% cancellation charge for all reservations.
- Parking is available for $2.00 per day.
- All schedules are dependent on the weather.
